President Irfaan Ali yesterday met with an executive team from Teleperformance— one of the largest Business Process Outsourcing companies in the country, at State House.
A release from the Office of the President said that the group was led by Country Manager, Luis Baretto. He was accompanied by the CEO of Teleperformance for Colombia, Guyana, Peru and Nicaragua, Andres Bernal; Global Deputy COO and President for the Ibero-LATAM region Juan Hincapie, and Chief Financial Officer for Teleperformance Andres Barrios.
Baretto said the aim of the meeting was to update the President on the operations of the company, its vision for Guyana and the region and about how it can contribute to creating more jobs and aiding the development of Guyana.
CEO of G-Invest, Peter Ramsaroop and Director of Projects at the Office of the President, Marcia Nadir-Sharma, were also at the meeting, the release said.
