With the MVP Futsal Championship set to commence today at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue, tournament coordinators, the Petra Organization, conducted an official team briefing with the competing 24 teams.

This occurred at the National Gymnasium yesterday where the tournament rules and one ball was presented to representatives of the competing teams.

Troy Mendonca, Co-Director of the Petra Organization, said that the forum presented the opportunity to interact with the teams and discuss the rules and other aspects of the event inclusive of the format.

He added that most events are hampered by tardiness of the competitors and that the organization will be working assiduously to remedy that issue.

According to Mendonca, an operations manager has been identified to administer the event and that individual is currently in the process of ensuring that all systems are in place.
