Twenty-five vehicles found with illegal tinted glass at Anna Regina

A team of police from Regional Police Division # 2 headed by Regional Commander Superintendent K. Shivbaran conducted a ‘White Light’ Traffic Enforcement exercise on the Anna Regina Public Road, Essequibo Coast on Saturday 29th October 2022, between 19:00 hrs and 21:30 hrs.

A release yesterday from the police said that during the exercise, 53 motor vehicles were stopped, searched and examined by the Division’s licensing and certifying officer Sergeant Mahadeo.

Fifteen drivers were served with Notice of Revocation of Fitness and twenty-five for tinted glass.

The exercise is part of ongoing activities to ensure our roads are safe for motorists, pedestrians and the general public.
