Courts Pee Wee U11 asemis set for today

The semi-final round in the Courts Pee Wee Boys U11 Football championships will commence today at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

St. Pius will oppose Marian Academy while Enterprise will engage North Georgetown at 14:00hrs. The respective winners will advance to the final, with the losers contesting the third place playoff.

Prior to the semi-finals, Tucville will oppose Craig while Smith Memorial will battle Mocha at 11:30hrs in the 13-16 placement pool, while Colaaco will tackle Timehri and Winfer Gardens will lock horns with Den Amstel in the 9-12 position division from 12:20hrs.

In the 5-8 section at 13:10hrs, Soesdyke will match skills with West Ruimveldt while Ann’s Grove takes aim at Redeemer.

The winner of the tournament will receive the championship trophy, gold medals, and a pair of uniforms. Each player will also be presented with an electronic tablet.

The runners-up will collect a trophy, silver medals, and six balls, while the third-place finisher will pocket a trophy and four balls and the fourth-place side will walk away with a trophy.

On the individual side, a trophy and a pair of football cleats will be presented to the Most Valuable Player, Highest Goal Scorer and Best Goalkeeper respectively.
