Region #6 overcame a one goal deficit to defeat Region #8 by a 3-2 score when the ‘One Guyana President’s Cup’ Football Championship continued last night at the Albion Cricket ground, East Berbice.
Dane Johnson, Devon James, and Leonardo Adams found the back of the net in the 47th, 86th and 90th+4 minute respectively. For the loser, Marciano Martin and Kemo Domingo scored in the 45th+4 and 63rd minute respectively.
Meanwhile, Region #3 and Region #5 played to a 2-2 draw. Trayon Bobb recorded a double in the 25th and 55th minute for Region #3, whilst Abumchi Benjamin registered a brace in the 23rd and 59th minute for Region #5. The tournament continues today with another round of matches.
