Region #4 and Region #10 secured lopsided victories when the One Guyana President’s Cup Football Championship continued last evening at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora.
Tournament favourite Region #4, whose roster boasts multiple Golden Jaguar internationals, dismantled Region #2 by a record 16-0 score. This is the largest margin of victory thus far in the competition.
Meanwhile, Region #10 crushed Region #2 4-0. Tyriq McAllister bagged a double in the 26th and 90th+1, while Andre Mayers and Kendolph Lewis scored in the 54th and 81st minute respectively.
On Saturday at the No. #5 ground, West Coast Berbice, Region #7 squeaked past Region #6 1-0 compliments of an Andrew Simons strike in the 80th minute.
