Linden student drowns in Blue Lake

The body of Cam Thomas, an 18-year-old student of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden was recovered at Blue Lake Creek, Mackenzie, Linden yesterday at 11:15 am after he went missing in the waters on Sunday.

According to a police report, the body was clad in black trunks. The body was examined for marks of violence and none was observed. The body was taken to the Linden Hospital Complex and pronounced dead on arrival by Doctor Martinez. The body is presently lying at Jetsco Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.

Thomas was a student at the Linden Technical Institute. According to the police press release he drowned on Sunday between  4.20 pm and 4.46 pm while in the company of four friends.

The incident was subsequently reported to the police who visited the scene.
