Berbice will be skippered by seasoned campaigner, Romario Ramdeholl with Sohail Mohammed as his deputy. The Boodwah brothers, Navin and Ravin, are also in the line-up with explosive opener, Adrian Hetmyer a key contender with the bat. Dave Mohabir will lead the Select XI that features the likes of Dhanesh Persaud, Kishan Silas and Arun Gainda as some of the key players in the line-up.

For Essequibo, Elisha Ramdat will take the reins with Ethan Silas, Omarion Smith, and Bhomesh Lall and company all making the Cinderella County a strong contender for the championship. Demerara will be led by Mickel Sharma while Emmanuel Lewis will function as his deputy.

According to the GCB, “This year’s tournament is expected to be very competitive with most of the players from last year returning because of the eligibility age implemented by Cricket West Indies for all age-group tournaments this year.”

The regional U-15 tournament is set to commence April 2, 2023, in Antigua and Barbuda.
