Guyana earned a silver medal in the boys U19 team event of the 26th Caribbean Region Table Tennis Federation Youth Championships, losing to powerhouse Dominican Republic 0-3 in the final yesterday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.

After surviving a ‘shoot-out’ with the police, 23-year-old, Ronaldo Chapman, called ‘Packie’, of Half Mile, Wismar, Linden was  yesterday charged with the possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of ammunition without a licence and the possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
