The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Government of Guyana (GOG) and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), U19 boys Inter-Club Super-50 tournament continued yesterday with wins for Cotton Tree Die Hard Cricket Club and Tucber Park Cricket Club.
Cotton Tree Die Hard beat Bath U19 by 194 runs.
Batting first Cotton Tree Die Hard posted 270-6 from 50 overs before routing Bath for 66 in 21 overs.
Cotton Tree’s opener Travis Dookharan scored 74 while middle-order batsman Veer Farahd blasted 66 off 37 balls with four fours and five sixes.
Arun Jaikaran and Shoaib Gaffur each took three wickets bowling for Cotton Tree.
Tucber Park too scored a massive win defeating Guymine by 130 runs.
Tomani Caesar scored a valiant 54 while national batsman Zynul Ramsammy and Thierry Henry each scored 22 runs.
Deroj Dejonje grabbed 3-17. In reply, Guymine were steamrolled for 72.
Gavin Kisten bagged 5-16 while Carley Dejonge captured three wickets. Shaquan Benjamin scored 20 for Tucber Park.
