Rain saves T/dad from defeat as bilateral series commence

Rain put paid to the Guyana U13’s chance of an opening round win when the bilateral series against Trinidad and Tobago got underway on Wednesday.

The inclement weather forced the match to be abandoned after only 18.3 overs with the Trinidad and Tobago innings in tatters on 43-9.

Wreaking havoc with the ball were

Makayah Holmes (2-11), Richard Ramdeholl (2-2) and Brandon Henry (2-5).

There were also a wicket each for Thierry Davis and Reyaz Latiff.

The second match of the four-match series took place yesterday at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain.

The tournament targets the ongoing development of West Indies cricket from the grassroots level up.
