Red cards issued as Soesdyke Falcons `short circuits’ Circuitville

Soesdyke Falcons soared past Circuitville by a 6-1 score when the East Bank Football Association Senior Men’s League continued yesterday at the Timehri Red ground.

The trio of Tyrone Khan, Terrence Glasgow, and Alvin Adams recorded respective doubles in the lopsided victory. Khan found the back of the net in the 28th and 55th minute, whilst Glasgow netted his double in the second and 65th minute. On the other hand, Adams etched his name on the scorer’s sheet twice in the second half in the 50th and 80th minute.

For the loser, Shamar Schultz briefly restored parity to proceedings in the 12th minute. Despite the lopsided nature of the contest, two red cards were issued by the referee. Ronaldo Nunes of Circuitville was expelled from the contest in the 30th minute, whilst Cledwin Williams of Soesdyke was ejected in the 48th minute. Also, Diamond gained a walkover from Samatta Point.
