The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) successfully completed a two-day outreach in the Bartica Football Association (BFA) jurisdiction where the importance of grassroots and female football were identified as strategic priorities for the current administration.

Forde met with the executives of the BFA and representatives from the affiliated clubs as well as other key stakeholders in the community. Several pieces of equipment were donated to the clubs to aid with their training activities.

According to the GFF president, the female and grassroots components of the discipline are very important to the federation and he posited that clubs should engineer programmes and policies that will aid in the development of these two facets.

Forde praised the BFA executive committee for their efforts in developing the sport through the utilization of the federation’s Members Financial Assistance Programme.
