Stolen Money storms to victory at Kennard Memorial Phagwah Meet

Stolen Money produced a dominant performance to claim victory in the feature event in the annual Kennard Memorial Turf Club Phagwah Horse Race meet yesterday.

Stolen Money, who was piloted by jockey Ronaldo Appadu, ran away with the top prize of $1,250,000 in the C Class and Lower Metro one-mile races, relegating Beckham James, Cremore, and Regal Intention into second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.

Meanwhile, in the opening fixture, which was the L Non-Winner race, Rags to Riches claimed the top spot, finishing ahead of Shake the Bank, Little Africa, and Top Ranking, who ended in second, third, and fourth apiece.

In race two, which was the H&L segment, American Traveller sped to victory, while Amicable Kate, Supremacy, and Rachel ended in second, third, and fourth, respectively.

Meanwhile, the L Open race was won by Quiet Warriors, with Princess Sasha, Princess Samiah, and Perfect Dream finishing in second, third, and fourth, respectively.

In race four, Regal Surprise emerged victorious, finishing ahead of Money Time, River Dance, and Bin Laden, who ended in second, third, and fourth, respectively.

Race five was won by Trump, who relegated Princess Samiah and Rags to Riches to second and third, respectively.

Shake the Bank won the L Non-Winner and first-time starters race, defeating Get Them Reggie, Maximum Cash, and Kiss, who finished in second, third, and fourth, respectively.

The next horse race, which will be the Easter Cup, will be hosted at the Port Mourant Turf Club on Sunday, March 31.
