National U-15 cricketer Pameshwar Ram was the recipient of financial aid from the West Demerara Cricket Association (WDCA) and former national player Ejaz Asgarally.
Ram, who plies his trade locally with Meten-Meer-Zorg West, was presented with the financials by the two entities at the Meten-Meer-Zorg facility.
WDCA Treasurer Avinash Ganesh implored Ram, who is currently a member of the Guyana team at the ongoing CWI Rising Stars Championship in Antigua and Barbuda, to remain disciplined during the event and to work assiduously to hone his talents.
Meanwhile, Asgarally said that he was encouraged by the attitude displayed by Ram and was not surprised when he was selected for national honours.
