Inter-Ministry Tapeball competition set for Saturday

The Georgetown Office Assistants Promotion Committee (GOAPC) has collaborated with Permanent Secretaries from the various Government Ministries and will host an Inter-Ministry tapeball competition dubbed ‘Bat Your Own Tapeball Competition’.

The competition will see the various participating Ministries field teams of 11 players in a six-over straight knock-out format on Saturday (April 20) at the Queen’s College ground from 8:30 am.

According to the organiser, James Lewis, the event “not only promotes friendly competition but also fosters camaraderie and teamwork among the government departments”.

While the competition is sponsored by the various Ministries, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hugh Todd has contributed medals while Prime Minister Mark Phillips is also expected to make additional contributions.

The closing date for registration is today and interested agencies are advised to make contact with James Lewis.
