Former champion Chase Academy, Waramuri, President’s College, and Dolphin earned semifinal berths following quarterfinal wins yesterday in the Milo Secondary Schools Football Championship at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Chase Academy crushed Bartica 5-0. The quintet of Neeiaz Baksh, Omar Sam, Bryan Wharton, Mark Glasgow, and Isaiah Ifill scored in the 20th, 21st, 40th, 69th, and 70th minutes apiece.

Similarly, Waramuri dismissed Anns Grove 3-0. Rondell Peters, Chetram Thomas, and Odell Holmes scored in the 27th, 34th, and 62nd minutes, respectively.

Meanwhile, President’s College downed East Ruimveldt 3-1. The trio of Lyshawn Morriah, Shamar Barrington, and Daniel Alexander scored in the 17th, 28th, and 65th minutes, respectively. On target in the loss was Jaheim Herbert in the 69th minute. Also, Dolphin Secondary edged West Ruimveldt 1-0. Ezekiel Frank scored the only conversion.
