Caribbean Special Olympics Bocce Championship
The local duo of Keston Knights and Daniel Samsundar seized two gold and one silver medal at the recently concluded Caribbean Special Olympics Bocce Event in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
Knights captured gold in division four of the singles category, defeating his Belizean opponent for the accolade. Meanwhile, Samsundar earned a silver medal in his singles category after battling opponents from Belize and Barbados, respectively.
In the doubles division, they thumped Belize in the final 10-2 to win gold. In their earlier team fixture, they defeated St. Lucia.
