Dear Editor, Over three weeks ago, the Guyana Water Inc in one of their countrywide disconnection campaigns, visited the Uitvlugt Sideline Dam and disconnected several houses.

Dear Editor,   These are recent headlines, ‘Caricom Heads agree on reparations action’ and ‘Caricom to set up Reparations Commission.’

Dear Editor, Whether deliberately, or the result of reflex action, various contributors have been publicising on TV, at rallies, and in print their respective perceptions of GuySuCo’s proposed Executive Chairman’s particular technical and related qualifications, leading importantly to an appreciation of the individual’s capacity for genuine leadership, at a time all are agreed that the sugar industry is begging to be retrieved from the slope of rapid decline.

Dear Editor, I write to congratulate the members of the Guyana Women Miners Organization (GWMO) on their outstanding work of helping young helpless girls, although they are placing their safety at risk.

Dear Editor, There have been a flurry letters in the newspapers  by PPP executive member Mr Clement Rohee as well as a press briefing, most recently about corruption and why the PPP paid the price at the last poll for neglecting groundwork in some areas of the party strongholds.

Dear Editor, Past victimisation is indeed the most accurate indicator of future victimisation.

Dear Editor, The Linden Hospital Complex (LHC) is indeed complex; the label ‘state of the art’ is daily being seen as a misnomer.

Dear Editor, It has been observed for over a year that Wales police station allows water to waste by having their black tanks overflow day and night.

Dear Editor, I agree completely with the sentiments expressed in the letter by Sharir Chan (‘Re-launch the Caribbean Press as a true public entity’ SN, July 8) that the dust needs to settle on the Caribbean Press.
