Dear Editor, I write in response to a letter published in your newspaper on September 2, 2021 under the caption “GTT’s CEO promise of change did not materialise” by M.

Dear Editor, There are continuing complaints of several employees of one large security service not processing contributions to the NIS for years, even though allegedly deductions are made from a substantial number of female guards in particular.

Dear Editor, Sometime last week GTT announced with great fanfare that their Blaze service has been “upgraded” and that customers would immediately see faster connectivity and better service.

Dear Editor, Perhaps the Environmental Protection Agency may wish to share with concerned citizens, indeed with the whole world, the measures it has implemented to gain such high regard from investors, developers, and even the heavy rollers in the oil industry.

Dear Editor, The security safety of citizens in any credible democracy is of vital importance.

Dear Editor, A few days ago, I was on a flight from Guyana to Miami, and the flight attendant had to announce several times to the passengers to flush the toilet after using it.

 Dear Editor, I note that a former president preceded by a former Speaker assert that the PPP is no longer Marxist-Leninist. 

Dear Editor, Reference is made to “Politkles” cartoon (Sep 7). I do enjoy the cartoons and welcome them.

Dear Editor, The Covid-19 vaccination system in Guyana needs revamping, because currently, the situation is quite absurd.

Dear Editor, I read in the news that President Irfaan Ali had announced that the repainting of the State House was being funded by the private sector.

Dear Editor, One assumes that the EPA reports to a Minister.

Dear Editor, I thank Minister Frank Anthony for stepping forward, removing the trash talk, and clearing the air on vaccines and children, and immunization interval necessary. 

Dear Editor, First the minority arm was against the chairman and vice, now it is a combined clamour against the executive officer of the region over budget.

Dear Editor, Two months after a July 13th News-room article, “After years of advocacy, Cabinet greenlights Guyana Hemp Industry”, I can picture Michael Kirton, co-chair of GHI, once more losing his optimism, probably salivating on his words  – “The battle to legalise industrial hemp in Guyana has come to an end,” to Newsroom.

Dear Editor, On Sunday, September 5th, 2021 I tuned in to the virtual meeting being hosted by the APNU+AFC with residents of Region Ten.

Dear Editor, The movement of Caribbean people to the US, Canada and elsewhere, and the movement of Jamaicans and Guyanese to more prosperous parts of the Caribbean, both have the potential to bring great material benefit to the region.

Dear Editor, I am quite pleased that the Government is reporting an increase in vaccinations among teachers, students and the general populace.
