Dear Editor,
I was interested to see Harry Hergash’s letter defending Dr Cheddi Jagan, Mr Bharrat Jagdeo, and the PPP’s record as a governing party over the course of its history (‘Jagdeo’s early experience as president shaped his thinking’ SN, January 6).
Dear Editor,
As a small businessman I am being slowly but surely put out of business as over the last two weeks in particular, the much vaunted customs TRIPS system has tripped out and tripped up so often I think they are beginning to make GPL look good.
Dear Editor,
Stabroek News of January 12 reported that President Jagdeo “warned that using a secret balloting process to decide on the PPP’s next presidential candidate could be dangerous as candidate hopefuls could promise persons things in order to get their votes.”
