Haiti quake kills one, sends residents flooding into the streets

PORT-AU-PRINCE,  (Reuters) – Haiti was struck by a 5.3 magnitude earthquake and a series of smaller tremors today that killed one person and led panicked residents of the Caribbean nation’s southern peninsula to flood into the streets.

Trinidad advances to Miss World semi-finals

(Trinidad Guardian) Days after she was subjected to fierce criticisms for her comments on poverty in T&T, Jeanine Brandt, this country’s delegate at the Miss World 2021 pageant, has been named among 40 semi-finalists who will go to Puerto Rico from March 13 to 18, to compete in the next round of the competition.
