In a letter to the Stabroek News of March 5th on the question of voting and other rights of the Guyanese diaspora, Vishnu Bisram refers to the struggle for the restoration of democracy, and mentions the limiting of rights under what he calls the ‘Burnham constitution.’

The letter by Sasenarine Singh of the AFC (SN, February 28), mildly correcting Malcolm Harripaul’s letter on Cheddi Jagan, even offering him a spot in the AFC, is indicative of the common ground both hold in trying to assassinate the character and good name of President Cheddi.
