With the Caribbean Junior Squash Championship fast approaching, the local governing body, the Guyana Squash Association, will commence its’ Woodpecker Products Limited Junior National Championship today.
The event which is set to be held at the Georgetown Club Facility on Camp Street, will be used to select and prepare the team for the upcoming International championships set for July 1st-9th on local shores.
According to a release form the GSA, approximately 40 players have registered to participate in the tournament which is features 10 categories. The tourney will conclude May 14th, with games being held every night from 18:00hrs leading up to the grand finale.
