Pouderoyen and Den Amstel battled to a 2-2 draw when the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) leg of the NAMILCO U-17 Championship continued yesterday at the Goed Fortuin ground.
Ezequiel Goppy handed Pouderoyen the initial lead as he found the back of the net in the seventh minute. However, Den Amstel responded in the form of Jamal Robinson in the 26th minute to level proceedings.
The score remained unchanged heading into the halftime interval. Upon the resumption, Den Amstel seized control of the contest as Robinson fashioned his second goal in the 52nd minute to complete his brace.
Nevertheless, Pouderoyen earned a share of the spoils, as Jarel Felix etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 75th minute to restore parity.
