Suriname Masters Football Club due Friday

SV Ratio FC of Paramaribo, Suriname will arrive local shores on Friday to compete in the second match of the best-of-three series in the Goodwill International Masters Football Championship.

This was revealed by Sheldon Bobb, the coordinator and organizer of the event. According to the Bobb, the match will be contested for the Modern Optical Trophy.

Bobb said that a win for the home side will render the third match irrelevant following Guyana’s win in the opening match.

Guyana defeated SV Ratio 2-0. Gerald Whittington bagged a double in the victory. The second match will be held at the Georgetown Football Club [GFC] ground, Bourda from 19:00hrs on Friday.

The Guyana team will comprise, Omally Nassy [captain], Sherwin Scott, Gerald Grittens, Shem Porter, Jolyan Lewis, Dexter Brandt, Conrad Loncke, Octiv Graham, Mark Anthony, Anson Lynch, Ken Harvey, Andrew Bright, Gordon Henry and Clancy Charles.

The other sponsors for the event are Bounty Farm Limited and Oasis Café.
