Caesar, Richmond net hat-tricks in Milo football

Tucville, New Central High and Golden Grove secured contrasting wins when the eighth Milo Secondary Schools football competition continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Tucville crushed the Bishops’ High 3-0. Simeon Benn bagged a double in the sixth and 51st minute. Adding a goal in the 19th minute was Shawn Lewis.

Similarly, New Central High downed Queenstown 3-1. Garfield Caesar fashioned a hat-trick in the 42nd, 60th and 69th minute. For the losers, Jose Lawson found the back of the net in the 49th minute.

Meanwhile, Golden Grove edged St. John’s College 3-2. Calvin Richmond tallied a hat-trick in the 26th, 52nd and 67th minute. For St. John’s, Shem Joris and David Xavier netted in the 10th and 38th minute respectively.
