The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) wishes to commend the efforts of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), health care and other frontline workers in their fight to the country safe against the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was disclosed by an official release from federation yesterday. According to the correspondence, GFF President Wayne Forde commended the efforts of the MoPH in promoting awareness and providing care during this troubling time, adding that the GFF is playing it’s part in the fight by observing all the rules and regulations issued by the health authorities.
He added, “The Guyana Football Fraternity stands in solidarity with the health care workers who are on the frontline of this battle and would therefore urge the general public to behave in a manner that values and respect their enormous courage and sacrifice.”
