Berbice All-Stars, Timehri Panthers and Melanie recorded convincing wins when the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/Kashif and Shanghai Organization Futsal Championship continued on Saturday evening.

Staged at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue, Berbice All-Stars defeated Mocha Ballers 3-0. The trio of Kevon Williams, Lomar Reid and Lashaw Mayles scored in the 12th, 19th and 29th minute respectively.

Similarly, Timehri Ballers crushed Potaro Strikers 7-0. Timothy Thomas led the rout with a hat-trick while Tsekedi Sealey fashioned a double. Adding one goal each were Runnel Gordon and Kevin Baptiste.

Melanie brushed aside Beacons of Bartica 4-0. Phillip Williams bagged a double while Denze Junior and Jermin Clarke scored one goal respectively. The tournament continues today at the same venue with another round of elimination fixtures.

In the opening match at 19:00hrs, Back Circle will lock horns with Timehri, while the second matchup at 19:30hrs will pit Alexander Village against Leopold Street. In the third encounter, Renegades of Den Amstel will match skills with Tiger Bay from 20:00hrs, while in the feature affair, Bent Street battles Team Cruel at 20:30hrs.
