Fireside Grill N Chill and Trophy Stall became the latest corporate entities to support the second Rawle Toney 3×3 Basketball Classic which commenced Saturday at the Burnham Court, Parade ground.

This is according to a release from the tournament coordinator. According to the correspondence, Fireside Grill N Chill has sponsored the championship trophy, which will officially be labeled the Andrew Ifill accolade in homage to late national player.

Ifill, who was renowned for being one of the better local players, passed away in 2019. Similarly, Trophy Stall donated the Most Valuable Player (MVP) trophy. 

Tournament coordinator Rawle Toney stated that approximately 30 games are scheduled for the event which ended yesterday, adding that it was a difficult task selecting the final 16 teams owing to the plethora of applications received from interested squads.

“The event will be live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook along with real time updates throughout the weekend,” the release added.

First prize in the tournament is $500,000.
