Sparta Boss, Bent Street, Slingerz FC and Swag Entertainment recorded wins, when the ‘Keep Ya Five Alive’ Futsal Championship continued on Saturday evening at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
Sparta Boss battled past Sophia 2-0. Ryan Hackett, and Jeremy Garrett found the back of the net in the seventh, and 20th minute apiece.
On the other hand, Slingerz FC brushed aside Avocado Ballers 7-1. Quincy Adams tallied a hat-trick in the sixth, eighth, and 13th minute, whilst Deon Alfred recorded a three-goal blitz in the third, fourth and 17th minute. Samuel Garnett added to the score in the 11th minute. For the loser, Andre Hinds netted in the second minute.
Similarly, Swag Entertainment dismantled Channel 9 by a 6-1 score-line. Colwyn Drakes fashioned a hat-trick in the fourth, fifth, and 11th minute, while Kocia Gentle bagged a double in the ninth and 20th minute. Adding a goal in the 14th minute was Kendolph Lewis. For the loser, Martin King scored in the 16th minute.
Meanwhile, Bent Street downed Timehri 3-1. The trio of Pernell Schultz, Colin Nelson and William Europe scored in the fourth, ninth and 10th minute respectively. On target in the loss was Lloyd Matthews in the 12th minute.
The tournament continues on August 13th at the same venue.
