Anthony Wilson appeared at the Georgetown Magis-trate’s Court on Friday charged with the possession of 18 lbs (8.2 kgs) of cannabis for trafficking, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 54 months imprisonment with a fine of approximately $7.3m, a CANU release stated.
Wilson was intercepted on Wednesday with 18 lbs of ganja at a shop at 101 Hunter Street, Albouys-town, Georgetown by Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) officers.]
