Rivers View and Beacons secured contrasting wins when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Monday evening at the Community Centre ground. Rivers View swamped AK Galaxy 5-0. Andrew Simmons led the rout with a hat-trick in the 28th, 35th, and 54th minute, whilst Omario Lake bagged a brace in the eighth and 24th minute. On the other hand, Beacons squeaked past Rising Stars 3-2. Troy Dougan crafted a second-half double in the 53rd and 88th minute, whilst Shaquell Hopkinson found the back of the net in the 36th minute.
For the loser, Neil Martindale tallied two conversions in the 18th and 24th minute. The event continues today at the same venue.
