The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) outflanked Venguy 3-0 when the Demerara Volleyball Association’s (DVA) Senior Men’s League continued last night at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
The tone of the contest was established from the first set, which eventually concluded 25-16 in favour of the army unit. The lead was then doubled as GDF improved their performance in the second stanza to prevail 25-12. Although they improved in the third set, Venguy lost 21-25 to hand GDF the deserved victory.
The tournament continues today at the same venue.
