Dear Editor, I cannot avoid noticing the double standards that are being applied by the current government in Guyana given the manner in which it is facilitating the licensing and operation of radio and TV media operations in various Guyanese locations.

Dear Editor, The current state of the National Assembly and the Speaker’s rulings are demonstrations that he is out of his depth as Speaker of the House.

Dear Editor, During the latter part of last year I travelled to New York from Guyana, only to become a victim of the EZjet fiasco.

Dear Editor, I refer to a letter, ‘Flawed criticism of Cheddi Jagan,’ SN, Feb 21.

Dear Editor, This is the nature of the beast that Guyanese have to contend with in the modern era that is 2013.

Dear Editor, On 25th/26th November, 2000, there was staged with C A Nigel Hughes, Attorney-at-Law as its chief-engineer, a Guyana Bar Association Law Conference which I still rate as the healthiest occasion involving the Guyana Bar that I have experienced since my association with the legal arena in October, 1949. 

Dear Editor, Regarding the publication of the report titled ‘Grandmaster wants to see Guyana compete internationally in Judo’ on page twenty-three of the Friday, February 22 edition of the Stabroek News by Duncan Saul, I would like to use this opportunity to point out to the public that the actual title of ‘Grandmaster’ unlike in other forms of martial arts, does not exist in Judo.
