Dear Editor, I would like to commend HBTV Channel 9 for their continuous efforts at educating the nation.

Dear Editor, With the resignation of Mr Ralph Ramkarran from the PPP after many years of dedication and commitment, I would like to publicly apologize to him for my errors of judgment in relation to his political positions over the years.

Dear Editor, Mr Deodat Sharma may not be a proper Auditor General but he surely knows how to play the political game.

Dear Editor, If one wanted proof that there is rampant and barefaced corruption in all aspect of business and administrative endeavours in Guyana, the resignation of Mr Ralph Ramkarran from the PPP/C is the perfect smoking gun.

Dear Editor, I thought the good folks over at Stabroek News had more sense and actually had their fingers on the pulse of the PPP government and how it operates on the issue of corruption.

Dear Editor, It is with great displeasure that I am forced to highlight an error made in your Friday June 29 publication.

Dear Editor,   Ralph Ramkarran’s resignation on June 30 is not surprising for many of us who reached great heights in the PPP and were finally pushed out.

Dear Editor, The numbers on the swipe-pad of a city commercial bank are faded, and customers, especially the elderly, even though they are wearing spectacles, cannot press these digits readily.

Dear Editor, What the PPP should have done when Mr Ramkarran wrote about corruption, was to have trumpeted its agreement with him, affirmed that the Cabinet, Executive Committee and Office of the President recognised its own concerns and determination in Mr Ramkarran’s statements, and just let the matter die out.

Dear Editor, I seek to share some thoughts on the Donald Ramotar presidency.

Dear Editor, Given the known record of non-compliance in the governance structures it might be appropriate for concerned parties to enquire whether the following statutory requirements have been or are observed, by the Audit Office: Oath of Professional Conduct Section 7 of the Act requires that: “The Auditor General shall not enter upon the duties of his office unless he has taken and subscribed before the Speaker of the National Assembly the Oath in the form set out in the First Schedule to the Constitution.”

Dear Editor, I was writing another letter totally unrelated to this one when a Stabroek News editorial on the recent imprisonment of a father for beating his promiscuous teen caught my eye.
