GFF should not in haste select a new national coach

Dear Editor, The departure of the Brazilian born Marcio Maximo is imminent following an extremely poor showing by the Golden Jaguars Senior Men’s National Football Team in the recently concluded Group Stage of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers Opening Round in addition to the elimination at the 2021 Gold Cup preliminary stage.

Do not sit around waiting on that ‘superior’ vaccine

Dear Editor, On Feb. 4 and Apr.15 (2021) I wrote letters in this newspaper explaining how vaccine efficacy in clinical trials (not to be confused with real world effectiveness) is determined and advised that it’s a waste of time to sit around waiting on a vaccine that you deem ‘superior’ based on these numbers since these numbers can change (and have done so now) when the virus mutates (as it does naturally).

Gov’t’s public assistance is timely for persons with disabilities
