Dear Editor, The glaring errors, as pointed out in a satirical piece, in the condolence message on the passing of a former prime minister of one of our CARICOM states is reminiscent of another mistake some time ago when Hindu religious holidays were mixed up.

Dear Editor, It was wonderful to hear of the plans to relocate the Fire Service Headquarters to ‘near’ Durban Park.

Dear Editor, The Guyana Water Incorporated has taken note of a recent Letter to the Editor in the media that raises concerns about the quality of water provided to Albion Front, Corentyne, Berbice residents.

Dear Editor, Your Editorial “Going the distance” (SN 8-11-21) on the passing of veteran trade unionist George De Pena mentioned his accomplishments in the athletic field, which he capped with his representation of Guyana (then “BG”) in the 5000 meters race at the Rome 1960 Olympics Games – the “ultimate goal of any athlete”.

Dear Editor, The generations of Public Servants in the colonial days had to undergo mandatory medical examinations and be declared fit for service before the Chief Secretary would approve the appointment.

Dear Editor, As we celebrate the 36th birth anni-versary of the late President Burnham, Freddie Kissoon has returned to his denigration of Burnham.
