Dear Editor, The APNU+AFC continues to drain the emotional capital of the nation.

As APNU+AFC and its surrogates continue to defy the will of the people by first sponsoring naked electoral fraud and when that failed occupying all tiers of the judiciary with spurious and vacuous legal challenges to the declaration of the result of the March 2nd elections, it is evident that Guyana faces its greatest threat to democratic governance since the massively rigged elections of 1985, courtesy of the then PNC which today again features in treachery of the same order.

Dear Editor,  The general call by the body representing the legal fraternity to political parties to restrain  supporters from attacking members of the judiciary and others in the execution of their duties, thrice it was noted by that body, is well intended. 

Dear Editor, I read with humour the APNU+AFC’s statement where they “resolved that fraudulent votes, (sic) cannot be factored in to represent the will of the electorate.”

Dear Editor, The three private criminal charges of alleged felony and misconduct brought against Keith Lowenfield, Chief Election Officer (CEO), pertaining to the execution of his duties can tomorrow happen to any public servant.

Dear Editor, Our country has been in a crisis politically, medically and economically over the past four months and twenty three days.

Dear Editor, I welcome the Guyana Bar Association’s letter regarding the racist and disrespectful attack on Justice Priya Sewnarine-Beharry (Chase, SN 2020.07.25; Newsroom).

Dear Editor, The WPA notes on several occasions in recent times Mr Frederick Kissoon in his public writings has referred to Dr Alissa Trotz as, “WPA leader” and “Executive member”.

Dear Editor, It was interesting to learn that some senior members of the APNU coalition have finally acknowledged that the Recount Numbers are legitimate in keeping with the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) and the Chief Justice of Guyana ruling that GECOM must make the declaration using the recount votes.
