Dear Editor, As a Guyanese American citizen, I take umbrage  at the fact that Mr Bart S Fisher  of JJ&B would lend his firm’s name and reputation to cover up what can aptly be described as a political coup.

Dear Editor, “Bart S. Fisher is a partner in JJ&B, which represents the APNU+AFC Coalition” this is the disclaimer on an Op-ed in the Washington Examiner written by the high priced lobbyist hired by Joseph Harmon to influence the American government to disregard Guyana’s elections results.

Dear Editor, After appearing to welcome the few CARICOM election scrutineers able to be mustered for a vote recount caused by GECOM Returning Officer Mingo’s failure to perform his duties, APNU+AFC and its apologists have resorted to trying to discredit the CARICOM observer report by claiming the scrutineers only experienced 18% of the recount.

Dear Editor, I write to pay tribute to Arjune Karshan, longtime political activist who led the Association of Concerned Guyanese (ACG), NY branch, that is affiliated with the PPP, for many years.

Dear Editor, When President David Granger and Opposition Leader Bharrat Jagdeo along with Caricom and GECOM’s Chair signed the “aide memoire”, the document that stated the terms and conditions of the recount and verification of the votes cast in the ten electoral districts in the country, it was followed by a gazetted order that gives legality to the mandate of the recount process.
