Dear Editor, Contrary to the erroneous impression given by the caption of Ms Lye’s Letter to the Editor in Stabroek News of August 27 `It is time for the ICJ to act’,  the Government of Guyana (GOG) is not awaiting a decision of the ICJ in order to enable Guyana to exploit the resources within its maritime space, its Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

In memory of `Sister Clemmy’

Dear Editor, “Sister Clemmy”, as I and many others called her, was a very personable individual whose presence was always felt in a room; if it wasn’t her claps and exclamations of approval during sermons at church, it was her giving of tips on how a good meal should be prepared.
