Errol Williams, a 51-year-old of Lot 50 Fyrish, Corentyne, Berbice, yesterday appeared before Magistrate Alicia George at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court on the offence of driving a motor vehicle whilst his breath alcohol level exceeded the prescribed limit of .035 BAC.
The charge was read to him and he pleaded guilty. He was subsequently fined $60,000 or alternatively three months imprisonment.
