DC Caesar Fox are KFC Goodwill Schools champs

DC Caesar Fox formerly Waramadong was crowned the KFC Goodwill Series Schools football champions after they defeated  newcomers St. Benedict’s College of Trinidad and Tobago 1-0 in the final on Friday evening at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Bevon Jones separated the two teams as he recorded the only conversion of the contest in the 82nd minute.

Christianburg/Wismar 4-0 in the third-place playoff. Ray Moses bagged a brace while Davey Jacobus and Mario Bartholomew netted one goal apiece.

The other sponsors of the event were Tiger Rentals, Guyana Beverage Inc. via the Oasis Water, Busta Soft Drinks and Fruta Juice brands, MVP Sports, the Guyana Football Federation, the Ministries of Education and Culture, Youth and Sport, and the Guyana Police Force.
