Carlos Petterson-Grifith has arrived in Miami, Florida on a mission to put his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Nicknamed ‘The Showstopper’, the strongman plans to not only compete, but to dominate the competition at ‘The Ragnarok Games’.

The two-day Games is a Strongman event scheduled for this weekend which will bring the strongest, meanest and baddest men and women on the planet to compete for the title of “Berserker”.

In excess of 200 gladiators from 45 countries are scheduled to compete.

The world renowned powerlifter said despite the butterflies, he is looking to rewrite history.

“I am looking to put my name in the Guinness Book of records. There are the Guinness Book officials here, so I am not just looking to compete but to dominate.”

Petterson-Grifith who won the Aruba Strongman to qualify for the title of “Berserker” added “There are big guns here, I am a big gun in my hemisphere so I am here to play with the boys.”

Following the event, the last man and woman standing will be the only one worthy of wielding Mjölnir, the hammer of the Mighty Thor.

The competition will test not only the strength of your body but also the strength of your mind and soul. Petterson-Grifith who has won numerous local and Regional Strongman competitions will have to dig deeper than he ever has before.

His sojourn was made possible thanks to Fitness Express, MVP Sports, Space Gym Guyana, Superior Concrete and others.
