Spankhurst captures the 2023 Horse of the Year accolade

Spankhurst captured the 2023 Horse of the Year award when the inaugural edition of the One Guyana Horse Racing Committee (OGHC) awards ceremony was staged on Friday at the Old Broom Lounge in Corentyne.

This was disclosed in an official release from the entity. According to the correspondence, Spankhurst clinched the title after winning the Boxing Day horse race meet.

Meanwhile, Bronson Chee-Foon was adjudged the Champion Breeder of the Year, while Jumbo Jet Racing Stable copped the Champion Owner accolade. Also, the Champion Jockey title was captured by Colin Ross.
