Delvoy Williams, age 25, and Joshua Archer, age 22, both of Robert Road Plaisance, East Coast Demerara, were arrested on January 6th by ranks of the Beterverwagting  Police Station and charged jointly yesterday with possession of a firearm without licence, possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and possession of ammunition without a licence.

Plaisance vendor remanded over gun, ammo

Colwin Barnwell, a 34-year-old vendor of Lot 22 Vigilance, East Coast Demerara, was charged yesterday with the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition after the police allegedly found a Glock 17 pistol and two live 9mm matching ammunition on his person for which he did not have a licence.

DJ fatally chopped at Laluni

A 28-year-old Good Hope, East Coast Demerara man was chopped to death last evening following an altercation at a shop in Laluni Village, Linden-Soesdyke Highway.
