Eccles NDC buys equipment

Through the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development, the Eccles, East Bank Demerara, Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC), spent $13M to acquire a tractor and trailer, and a bobcat machine to fix the roads and take care of other aspects of enhancement in that East Bank Demerara NDC, GINA said.

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China has provided the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) with equipment support totalling 5M RMB (over US$819,600 ) to boost the efficiency of the army and help protect Guyana and its borders, GINA said.
