End of COVID pandemic is ‘in sight’ -WHO chief

 (Reuters) – The world has never been in a better position to end the COVID-19 pandemic, the head of the World Health Organization said today, his most optimistic outlook yet on the years-long health crisis which has killed over six million people.

National cricketers win GTTA/NSC two-player tourney

National junior cricketers Jonathan Van Lange and Niron Bissu put aside their cricket equipment and picked up their table tennis racquets, joining forces to win the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) in collaboration with the National Sports Commission (NSC) Open two-player, team, table-tennis tournament.
