Hicks’ ton leads RHTYSC to six-wicket win over YWCC

From Romario Samaroo in Berbice Delbert “Trixie” Hicks rolled back the years with an unbeaten ton to hand Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club Thunderbolts a six-wicket victory over Young Warriors Cricket Club yesterday at Area H Ground.

Internal spat escalates between officials of Table Tennis Association

An internal bickering between two officials of the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) escalated at the weekend after Junior Vice President of the association Gary Pratt made a bold step in calling for a financial audit into the operations of the association.

Tridents crush Zouks in tale of two powerplays

National lawn tennis player Afruica Gentle secured her fourth successive title in the U18 category of the seventh Bakewell junior Open competition which concluded yesterday.

Junior national lawn tennis player Vadeanand Resaul retained his under-14 crown at the seventh Bakewell Junior Open tournament after defeating Wayne Barker in the final Thursday evening at the Le Ressouvenir tennis facility courts. 

Patriots release WR Antonio Brown

The Antonio Brown era in New England is over. The Patriots announced they are cutting the controversial wide receiver yesterday afternoon, just five days after Brown caught four passes for 56 yards and scored a touchdown in his debut with the team.

An unbroken 94-run partnership for the seventh wicket between Fabian Allen and Keron Cottoy set St Kitts & Nevis Patriots on their way to a 20-run Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) victory over Jamaica Tallawahs despite Glenn Phillips smashing 87 from 49 in reply.
