Bairstow left out of test squad for N/Zealand tour

LONDON, (Reuters) – England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow has been left out of the squad for the two-test series in New Zealand but included in the Twenty20 squad for the tour that begins in November, the country’s cricket board (ECB) said yesterday.

Guyana Amazon Warriors stay perfect with rain-affected win

(CPL) Guyana Amazon Warriors opened a three-point lead at the top of the 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) table as they extended their perfect start to the season to six matches and guaranteed them a playoff spot with a rain-affected victory over Barbados Tridents at the Kensington Oval last night.

Youth got the better of experience yesterday at the Area H Ground where Rose Hall Town Bakewell defeated Number One Road by 10 wickets in the opening round of the Berbice Cricket Board/ New Building Society second-division 40-overs-a-side tournament.
